Documentary Wedding Photography
Capturing a moment so it can last a lifetime.
... in essence, this is what Documentary Wedding Photography is. I won’t interfere with your day at all, won’t ask you to pose for group shots or get in your way - in fact, if I do my job properly, you won’t realise I’m there most of the time. I’ll capture the day as it unfolds around you so, so that you can relive it over and over again, and discover new moments that you may never even have noticed.

The best images come from me being left free to roam around the wedding, capturing the emotions and energy of the day through my photographs. Yes, most weddings have some form of formal or group photography, but I try and keep that to a minimum. Too much formal photography hinders my ability to creatively capture the day; rather, just let the day unfold around you and I’ll ensure that you’ll have those memories of the day to treasure forever.

David is a great photographer! He took our family photos and did a great job. He was great at capturing the personality of our family. We have received loads of complements on the photos he has taken! We would highly recommend him!

David braved the cold to take beautiful pictures of our wedding that we will cherish forever. They are stunning.
Places I've Been, People I've Seen

I've been taking photos for years, started out with some not-so-great point and shoots, bought my first DSLR when I was about 20 and properly got serious about photography in March 2013 when I went to South Africa for the first time. I documented our trip and found that I could capture the emotion of our time there and share it with others back home. I was hooked at this point, and a camera has barely left my side since.
